Information: From August 1942, the Van der Capellen School on Zeelandiastraat, an elementary school with a kindergarten overseen by the Society of Christian Schools in Bandoeng, was an internment camp for men and a small number of boys. They were housed in classrooms and outbuildings, which were surrounded by barbed wire and gedek. In October 1943 they were taken to Camp Baros 5 in Tjimahi.
