Location: Medan is on the east coast of Sumatra. The HBS building was on the corner of Wilhelminastraat and Ceramstraat, in the northeastern part of the city.

Internees: men
Information: At the beginning of October 1945, ex-prisoners of war from Singapore and the Pakanbaroe railway line arrived at this relief camp. With a special pass, the men could seek family members in the RAPWI camp in the Polonia district in the southern part of the city. The relief camp was initially guarded by Dutch members of the Brondgeest police corps, and then from mid-October by British-Indies soldiers.
