Information: After the Japanese occupied Timor at the end of February 1942, approximately 40 priests, friars and nuns from all of West Timor were collected into the Mission Station of the Fathers of the Godly Word of Steyl in Atamboea. On August 30th they left along with the civilian internees from Soë, bound for Makassar via Koepang.
