Information: When the Japanese troops entered Pontianak the "European" women and children were interned in the vicarage of the Roman Catholic church. Among them were the nuns from Veghel. On July 15th they were transferred to camp Batu Lintang near Kuching, where they arrived early in the morning of July 17th after a stormy passage.
