Information: At the end of January, 1945, 54 men and boys were transported from the men's camp in Bandjermasin to Kandangan. There they were gathered in wooden bivouacs, roofed with atap. The camp was encircled by a metre-high fence and separated from the women's camp by a field of alang-alang. At the beginning of August the camp was abandoned, and the men and boys were taken to the men's camp at Poeroektjaoe.
