Information: In October 1945, eight families from Camp Sronno arrived at Camp Awoe-awoe. The camp consisted of sheds on poles, which were intended for tobacco drying, and several houses, encircled by gedek. The internees needed to cook their own food, and they obtained their water from a small river. The same river provided water for washing and served as a toilet. There was no medical care. In February 1946, the internees were transferred to Camp Kendenglemboe.
