Information: In April, 1943 European and native prisoners of war were assembled in a former artillery camp, Sentosa, in Balikpapan, which was encircled by a two-metre high barbed-wire fence. On 19 December 1944 the prisoners moved to a self-built bivouac near Goenoeng Malang.
