Information: At the beginning of March 1942, there were approximately 1,800 Dutch, native, and British men were made prisoners of war in the Vorstenlanden. One of the buildings used to hold them was the AMS-A building. The Dutch and native prisoners were held there. At the beginning of May they were transferred to the HBS, elsewhere in Djokjakarta, to be sent at the beginning of July to prisoner of war camps in Bandoeng and Tjimahi.
